Passenger Transport in the Richmond Valley – A review of the current status and analysis of need

This report applies to the Richmond Valley which includes the local government areas of Richmond Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Ballina and Byron and extends from Byron Bay in the north to east of Woodenbong, south of Whiporie, and across to the coast just south of Evans Head, and specifically involves:

  • a review of the current state of transport provision in the Richmond Valley;
  • an assessment of demographic characteristics of the population to identify transport need and disadvantage; and
  • an analysis of this data to highlight key issues or gaps regarding access or service provision (based on geographic/spatial, demographic or temporal considerations).
