In the run up to the State Government elections, with the intention of showing the community support for the return of train services to the Casino-Murwillumbah rail line, a music video project, ‘TOOT for the Future’ was created. In February, the song was recorded by Garth Kindred and the ‘TOOTERS’ at Old Dog Studios Corndale and on March 10 and 12 a video was shot at Lismore and Byron Bay Railway Stations by Paul Tait, David Bradbury and Brendan Shoebridge. This was edited by Andrew Bambach (In Your Face Productions) and Lydia Kindred, over three days, and it is now ready to be enjoyed. Here is the link to the new TOOT music video on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyDMKG7O63E To hear the song & get the lyrics via the TOOT website: To hear the song directly: http://soundcloud.com/albi-2/toot The song has been added to the Australian Railway Songs Website: http://railwaysongs.blogspot.com/ For photos of the Lismore Station rally see Tony Allison’s collection: https://picasaweb.google.com/ecodigitography/TOOTLismore?feat=email# Thanks to everyone who supported this project.
