After a night out in Coolangatta, take the NightLink Bus and Tweed TaxiLink from Coolangatta to Pottsville and get home safely and cheaply.  This new initiaitve is jointly funded by Gold Coast City Council and Tweed Shire Council.

Coolangatta Nightlink Bus Service

The N798 NightLink service is a special bus that operates from 12.15am to 3.15am QLD time (1.15am to 4.15am NSW time) on Saturday and Sunday mornings (and Public Holiday mornings) at standard TransLink fares $2.43 (go card) and $3.90 (cash) with security provided.

NightLink picks up only at:

• Queen Elizabeth Park bus stop in McLean Street,
• Coolangatta Central bus stop Griffith Street, and
• Coolangatta East bus stop Griffith Street,

and drops off along its route via:

• Dry Dock Doad and Fraser Drive at South Tweed,
• Darlington Drive at Banora Point,
  
• Chinderah Bay Drive at Chinderah and then to Kingscliff at the Pearl Street bus stop.

Tweed TaxiLink

The bus then links passengers with a 10-seatter Maxi Taxi at Kingscliff continuing on to:

• Cudgen,
• Casuarina, and
• Salt for an additional $5 fare

and then to:

• Cabarita,
• Hastings Point and
• Pottsville for an additional $10 fare.
