The Northern Rivers Housing Forum has been established to highlight housing issues and needs, identify challenges, and determine innovative and sustainable approaches to address these issues across the region. This regional forum also allows for ongoing discussion and dissemination of relevant information amongst key stakeholders, provides opportunity for partnerships and collaboration as well as research and policy development.
The forum has representation from the seven Local Government Areas of Ballina, Byron, Clarence Valley, Kyogle, Lismore, Richmond Valley and Tweed. Membership is open to any group or individual who supports the purpose of the Forum. A core group (The Executive) meets every six weeks to drive the Northern Rivers Housing Forum. Forum events are held twice a year, which provide an oportunity for people to network with others who are involved in housing as well as learn more about what is happening in the region.
