According to the Multiple Sclerosis Network of Care, March 2011 may well be remembered as the month when CCSVI really took the world stage. The fiirst International Venous Endoplastic Forum in Poland and the first meeting of the International Society of Neurovascular Disease in Italy brought together most of the worlds experts on this condition, to share their experience and present vital new research in this area.

Dr Kirsty Duncan a medical research scientist (and a member of the Canadian Parliament) provided an inspirational overview about key issues associated with properly understanding the implications of CCSVI. Dr Duncan spoke frankly from a broad range of perspectives - most of the issues she spoke about have a high degree of relevance in Australasia. This 16 minute video is a 'must watch' for Australasian politicians, Medical experts, MS organisations, News media and most importantly the 26,000 families living with MS in Australia and New Zealand.
