The Northern Rivers Finance Officers Network is a region wide forum which meets for 2 hours every two months (the venue is not fixed). The Network members are finance officers or bookkeepers of non-profit organisation in the Northern Rivers region. Meetings of the Network commenced in September 2008 and have covered a range of topics of interest to bookkeepers and finance officers. Topics have included:

• audit requirements
• risk management
• financial board reports
• salary packaging and fringe benefits tax
• time in lieu
• time sheets

While meetings have set agenda's there is plenty of opportunity to network with other bookkeepers and finance officers. Finance Officers Network - Online Forum

NRSDC's Finance Officers Network OnlineForum provides all registered members of the network an opportunity to connect without the need to attend meetings. The Online Forum will not replace the regular 2 monthly meetings, but for those who are unable to attend, this maybe an excellent way to communicate. If you are a finance officer or bookkeeper and you work for a non-profit organisation in the Northern Rivers region you will be eligble to join the Online Forum. To register, click the "Forum" link on left menu and then click the Register link. Make sure you read the Terms and Conditions and then complete the registration form. You will be required to provide the Name, Organisation and email address of a referee who can varify your details. When your registration has been approved, you will then be able to access the Online Forum.
