Seventy people from across the region attended the Northern Rivers Housing Forum in Ballina on May 9 to hear from a diverse range of speakers and participate in a range of workshops on the theme of Effective Partnerships for Service Delivery and Action.
Presentations included both local and city based service integration and partnership examples as well as current research overviews. A panel of representatives from Housing NSW, On Track Community Programs and North Coast Community Housing Company provided updates to policy changes and fielded questions from forum participants on a broad range of social housing eligibility and allocation processes. Workshop topics included Creative Tenancies, Real Estate Partnerships and Partnerships with other Agencies (building effective relationships).
