Free Parent Workshops In Lismore PDF Print E-mail

The NSW DET will be holding a series of 3 free workshops on how young Jarjums learn for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Parents, Grandparents, Aunties or Uncles.

These workshops help parents and carers of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children (0 - 8 years) to:

  • Learn about the importance of learning at home with family
  • Learn about how schools help children to learn, read and write
  • Learn some of the language schools use so that parents / carers can be better equipped to be a part of their child's education
