The full day course offers an overview of Autism Spectrum Disorder, it’s features and impact on individuals functioning in integrated learning and social environments. Comprehensive support strategies are explained within a Positive Behaviour Support framework. Opportunities for discussion and problem solving make this an engaging and practical course.

- Overview of ASD
- Thinking and learning styles of children with Autism and Asperger’s Disorder
- A systematic approach to the implementation of support strategies for behavioural, social, learning, communication and sensory-motor needs in classroom and playground settings.
