Youth Action is hosting its biennial Youth Work Conference on 21-23 October 2013 in Surry Hills in Sydney. More details will be released soon, and early bird registration will open in June. Stay tuned! As part of the Youth Work conference, Youth Action’s first ever Youth Work Awards Night will be held on Tuesday night 22 October at the conference venue.

The 2013 RYDON conference is a great conference for regional youth workers and registrations are now OPEN. This year's conference theme is “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Young people, violence and alcohol” and will include speakers from around Australia discussing the effects that exposure to violence and the consumption of alcohol can have on young people. Registrations are now open to the annual RYDON conference 2013: “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly…” Young People, Violence and Alcohol. The conference is on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th June 2013 at Mercure Resort, Hunter Valley Gardens, Pokolbin.

An Infant and Early Childhood Social and Emotional Wellbeing Conference 2013 with the theme "Foundation of a Nation" will be held 30 October to 2 November 2013, at the National Convention Centre, Canberra.

 In 2013 we celebrate the centenary of Canberra, our nation's capital, consolidating the foundation of our nation. The real foundation of our nation's future is today's infants and young children (0 to 5 years) and the families and communities who nurture them. How these infants and young children develop will shape our country over the next century.

Homelessness Australia has set the date of 5-7 September 2012 for the 7th National Homelessness Conference – Making It Home: The Real Issues in Homelessness.
