An opportunity for current managers in the community sector! Mental Health Coordinating Council have received funding to run their Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management in Lismore! This means that the price of attending the course is highly subsidised, costing $764 per participant as opposed to nearly $3000!Current and emerging managers from the community sector are invited to engage in a dynamic and unique course based on Daniel Goleman’s Emotional Intelligence theory. This course will provide a variety of useful and practical tools which will increase effectiveness as a manager and enhance leadership skills. The course is suitable for new and existing managers in community services including frontline supervisors, team leaders, program managers and coordinators. Participants must have the opportunity to supervise staff throughout the program. The dates for the course are as follows: Lismore Training: Workshop 1 & 2: Sept 19-20 Workshop 3 & 4: Nov 1-2 Workshop 5 & 6: Dec 12-13 Workshop 7 & 8: Feb 8-9 2012 Workshop 9 & 10: March 26-27 2012 A copy of the course flyer is attached along with an enrolment form.
