The Lismore Community Garden now has garden plots available for community groups to grow their own fresh vegies and experience all the benefits of healthy eating and exercise.
There are two sizes available: 1.5 m x 2m or 1.5 x 3m. The Community Garden will provide each group with:

• low raised garden bed with edging
• materials for establishing the no-dig garden (newspaper, hay, compost, organic fertilisers etc)
• knowledge and assistance with making the no-dig garden
• access to basic gardening tools (subject to availability)
• advice on keeping your plot healthy and productive

You will need to provide:

• plants for your garden plot
• people to maintain your plot (watering, weeding, planting, harvesting, adding organic fertiliser, compost etc and organic pest control)
• designated supervisor for your plot
