The Department of Regional Australia, Regional Development and Local Government has now released the first version of the myregion website for public use.

myregion (www.myregion.gov.au) has been developed as a central place for Australians to explore, understand, discuss and influence the future of their regions by accessing government data about individual regions and supporting conversation between people in their communities and with governments.

The myregion team continues to encourage RDA committees, as well as other Australian Government, State/Territory and Local Government agencies, not-for-profits and other community organisations to monitor and participate in the community conversations taking place on the myregion website.

The team also invites you to provide news related to regional programs or events and articles or blog posts that illustrate your involvement and activities across any or all of Australia’s regions.

Please note that this is the first release of myregion. Additional features will be developed and added over coming months. The myregion team would appreciate your thoughts and ideas on how to improve the website, making it more useful for you as it grows.
