Come to the Volunteer Expo on March 15,  upstairs in the Byron Bay Community Centre as we celebrate the wonderful work that volunteers do for our community. You might just find something that captures your interest and like to become a volunteer yourself – gain new skills, experience and meet new friends.   Byron Bay at the heart of the Shire is filled with many different people who volunteer to make the community a wonderful place to work and play.

Connection to the community makes you feel good, useful and wanted.

The Byron Shire has an amazing diversity of organisations that need volunteers  - from art projects to theatre, landcare, music performances and community events. The Expo will showcase these organisations and provide an opportunity to recruit more volunteers.

The Expo will also incorporate the launch of the new “It’s A Guy Thing” program. It will be an ongoing campaign celebrating men’s participation to our community in a voluntary capacity.

Everyone is invited to come in and wander through the stalls. The event is free entry to the public from 11am-4pm with refreshments available, door prizes and more!
