The Tweed Family Mental Health Planning Committee is looking for new members and is gearing up to make the 2012 Tweed Family Fun Day a day to be remembered! Event Manager, Maria Breene said the Tweed Family Fun Day would be held during Mental Health month in October. 

"Our committee works in collaboration with many Mental Health organization throughout the Tweed," Maria said. "We are now recruiting new members from a more diverse range of Mental Health organizations.  We are looking for a wider range of workers to take on smaller roles to help bring this highly successful event to fruition – our attendance has grown to 500 people. This is an opportunity for your organisation to work collaboratively to give back to your consumers and educate the community about your organization and break down the stigmas associated with mental health issues."
