Every day, tonnes of unused food go to waste in supermarkets, delicatessens and restaraunts across Australia.  If you have the energy and passion to help do something about rescuing food in your community, you can now access the OzHarvest regional food rescue online toolkit and learn how to stop food going to waste.

Check it out at  www.reap.org.au. The website is very new and OzHarvest organisers are seeking feedback and suggestions to ensure that it is as effective as  possible.

Some parts of the website are accessible only after sign up.  The aim is to allow OzHarvest to communicate with people who want to be involved and to be as helpful as possible to ensure people can start rescuing food effectively and as soon as possible.  We are also continually looking at the community section as we would really love this to serve as a useful forum where people can talk with others involved in food rescue and find out about food rescue near them – so any suggestions welcome!
